Everything from frisbees to fetchin' sticks are made from a durable, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and machine-washable heavy hemp canvas. Some, like the ECO FETCHIN' STICKS, have an inner hemp rope and wool stuffing for something pup can sink it's teeth into. Ideal for a game of tug, either with you or another playful pup, as well as fetch and just plain chewing, the ropes can be expected to unravel with use. Biodegradable, the ropes will break down over time after they've been left to peace after a full life of play.

The Twist & Tug toy provides a good gripping handle for both pup and person from a solidly twisted rope for $12, while the Tug-and-Toss toy features a rope ball attached to a handle, perfect for launching across the lawn for pup to chase after, is available in small ($8) or medium ($10). In an interesting twist on eco-friendly, while the West Paw toys are a type of plastic, they are made of a proprietary formula that can be ground up and made into new toys, making them infinitely recyclable. Through the "Join the Loop" program, pup's used toys can be sent back to West Paw (located in Montana) for recycling, providing materials for some other lucky pup's new toy. Though the toys are stated to be durable and last for quite a while, so don't expect to be shipping many back!
